« Normand » vertical rolling curtain
For daily use, the Normand curtain is ideal for making doors. Often used to close off feed alleys, it is particularly appreciated for its opening speed and effective clearance width (up to 12 metres).
As regards its composition, it has canvas that’s rolled around an axis (102 x 2 mm) positioned at the centre of the curtain. A tubular motor is inserted into this tube. Two vertical guides (Ø 48.3 mm x 2.9 mm) laterally guide the assembly.
To ensure proper travelling, the motor support and the guide tubes are have high-density Teflon rings. The winding tubes and ballast are guided on both sides.
Finally, the curtain is weighted at the bottom by a 102 x 2 mm thick tube.
Its little extra, a finishing vertical flap (in canvas) and a rail on the side opposite the motor complete the curtain to limit side air currents and make the assembly more aesthetically pleasing.
